2008 Ride for Seniors - A success
Thanks to everyone who came out in support of the 1st
Annual MLR Ride for Seniors in spite of the poor weather. Everyone that we have
spoken with has given positive feedback and indicated to us that they will be
joining the Ride for Seniors next year, rain or shine. The 1st Annual Ride for

Next year we expect big things from the MLR Ride for Seniors and have set a goal to raise $10,000.00. With your help this goal can be achieved, let us make it happen together.
T-Shirts are still available for purchase by calling Cathy Sheehan, the Seniors Resource Centre at 737-2333. For just $25.00, these shirts will make a great birthday or Christmas gift for that biker in your life. Remember, all proceeds from the sale of these shirts goes directly to the Seniors Resource Centre to enable them to continue the great work they do for the seniors of Newfoundland and Labrador.We are also looking to build the 2009 MLR Ride for Seniors organizing team and encourage you to get involved with us on this very worthwhile charitable cause.
