Riding for Charity - Newfoundland & Labrador
Another charity ride behind us with the MLR prize ride for Sleeping Children Around The World completed and although only a small crew attended the Canada Day charity ride, 2 more children will now experience the pleasure of sleeping in a bed for the first time in their young lives and afther all, that is what it is all about.
We always hope and pray for a good turnout but we should never loose sight of the reason for the ride and whether 1 child or 10 children receive a bed for the first time, it is a wonderful gift to give. Special thanks to Wayne,Louise,Fred,Paula and Wanda for their contributions which made these bedkits possible. I'd like to also thank Megatrends,The Wilds and MLR for the prize donations.
Until next year when we do it all again, I wish you all many restful sleeps. I will post the photos of the children who were helped by the MLR charity ride when we receive them from SCAW.
