It was sunny and that cleared the way for a ride

I don't normally consider 35 kilometers much of a ride but with the weather that we have been having and the onset of freezing temperatures, it may be all that I will get in for 2009. With a new motorcycle and no time left to ride, I am feeling a little cheated and the thoughts of covering my ride up for 5 or six months is causing me a great deal of grief.

I know that I have to accept that the 2009 riding season is drawing to a close and focus on the countdown to the 2010 riding season. I am truly looking forward to 2010 and with plans for a couple of long trips including one to Gros Morne and the other to the mainland, quite possibly Maine, it may be my best ride season yet. Winterizing my Vulcan is a little easier to swallow when I think about it in those terms. Soon the Winter of 2010 will be just a memory and I will be uncovering the Vulcan, hitting the start button and rumble my way out of the garage for my first ride of the new season.

I need to bite the bullet, get the Vulcan's oil changed, fuel stabilized, shined, covered and battery placed on the tender charge, I am officially done with 2009. Hmmmmmmmm, but what if !!!! unsure
